Reports to: Operations Manager
Location: The Safe Cafe
Employment: Part Time, 20 hrs/wk
Compensation: $17.00 - $19.00 / hour
Hours: Between 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday. 3-month probation and review.
Start Date: June 16, 2025

What You’ll Do
● Crafting espresso drinks, teas, and specialty beverages
● Greeting guests and creating a warm, welcoming café atmosphere
● Supporting team members in keeping the café tidy and well-stocked
● Taking and processing orders with accuracy and efficiency
● Learning the art of great coffee—and how to work under pressure with style
Who You Are
● Friendly, enthusiastic, and eager to learn
● Able to stay calm and organized in a busy setting
● A strong communicator and team player
● Committed to punctuality, cleanliness, and hospitality
What You Bring
● Strong interpersonal and communication skills
● Able to follow detailed instructions and standard drink recipes
● Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 lbs
● Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
● No formal education required
Additional Requirements
● Food Safe Level 1 (or willingness to obtain) preferred
● Barista or customer service experience is an asset, but not required—training provided!
