Overview
Our client, a leading product innovation firm focused on the strategy, design, and development of cutting-edge apps, is hiring a Presales Sales Consultant based in GTA. This is a remote position.
Responsibilities
- Prepare proposals in response to RFPs and estimation requests.
- Develop pitches and proposals for unsolicited deals.
- Manage end-to-end proposal processes to meet deadlines.
- Write and integrate final responses from various stakeholders, perform technical editing, and ensure timely submission with commercials.
- Attend meetings with potential clients.
- Analyze and assess client requests to define project scope.
- Break down complex or vague requirements into manageable tasks.
- Explore unknowns and propose sound solutions that are feasible for sales and delivery.
- Identify risks and constraints for proposed solutions and ongoing projects.
- Articulate decisions, rationales, and assumptions with clients and internal teams.
- Determine the best course of action on technical uncertainties and estimate effort accordingly.
- Estimate project effort across departments and recommend optimal costs and timelines.
- Visualize component stacks, dependencies, and data flows with architecture diagrams.
- Create attractive proposals with app designs, innovative ideas, product ROI, and architecture diagrams.
- Conduct competitor and market analysis to strengthen value propositions during bids.
- Invest in internal process improvements and tooling development.
- Collaborate with on-site and offshore teams.
- Continuously improve proposal templates.
- Understand and define API specifications (server-side and client-side).
- Ensure technology standards and best practices are current.
- Identify sales leads through market research.
- Profile prospects and identify opportunities via market news and events.
- Demonstrate passion for leadership, product delivery, strong work ethic, collaboration, and client focus.
- Coordinate with on-site and offshore development teams.
Required Qualifications
Must-Have Skills
- A highly technical background (e.g., Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or relevant field).
- 3-5 years of professional experience.
- Experience working on iOS, Android, Web, or API projects.
- Experience creating technical diagrams with tools.
- Understanding of Agile methodology.
- Experience in solution architecture.
- Comfortable with task estimation.
- Resourceful in researching unknowns via experimentation or documentation.
- Risk-aware with proactive planning for potential project impacts.
- Ability to work autonomously, prioritize, and manage multiple projects efficiently.
- Impeccable attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record of leading successful software development projects.
