Job summary

FLINT Corp. is seeking Journeyperson Welders for a permanent role in Fort McMurray, AB, starting ASAP. Enjoy a 7/7 schedule, camp accommodations, and flights from Calgary or Edmonton. Benefits become available after 300+ hours worked. Candidates must hold a Journeyperson welder ticket, with CSO and CWB credentials considered assets.

Asset experience in Oil Sands or large open pit mining equipment is preferred. Proficiency in English is required for communication on site and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyperson Welder ticket is required.
• CSO (Common Safety Orientation) is mandatory.
• Physically capable of demanding tasks in varying conditions.
• Fluent in English, verbal and written.

Job Description

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyperson Welder ticket.
• B-Pressure ticket is an asset.
• Possess CWB certification as a testament to your welding skills.
• Oil Sands or sizeable open pit mining equipment experience.
• Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements:
  • CSO (Common Safety Orientation from Energy Safety Canada)
• Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions.
• Able to provide a clean 3-year driver's abstract with under 9 demerits.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.

Additional Information

This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
