Job summary

Furnasman, a division of RT Holdings Inc (Right Time Heating and Air Conditioning), seeks an experienced HVAC Technician. The role involves ensuring installations meet codes, educating customers, performing inspections, and promoting services on every call.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years HVAC experience with furnaces, central and ductless AC, gas boilers, water heaters including tankless heaters.
• Gas Fitter Two License required.
• Residential Air Conditioning License (Journeyman or RedSeal) required.
• Valid Driver's License with clean record.
• Clear criminal record.
• Strong technical and customer service skills with proven metrics.
• Experience in HVAC lead generation and CPP enrolments.
• Comfortable working from heights and using a ladder.
• Accountable with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Ability to install and commission HVAC elements.

Responsibilities

What We Are Looking For

• A minimum of 3 years recent HVAC experience with exposure to furnaces, central and ductless air conditioners, gas boilers, water heaters including tankless heaters
• Valid Gas Fitter Two License
• Residential Air Conditioning License (Journeyman or RedSeal)
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean record
• Clear criminal record
• Strong technical and customer service skills, with proven company metrics in current and previous roles
• Effective at HVAC lead generation and CPP enrolments
• Comfortable working from heights and using a ladder
• Accountable and responsible personality, delivering high customer satisfaction with a positive, can‑do attitude
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively within a team environment, completing the installation and commissioning of HVAC elements

What Will You Do

• Ensure customers’ heating, ventilation, and air‑conditioning equipment meets or exceeds the Technical Standards & Safety Authority’s codes and municipal building codes and standards.
• Follow all Energy Star installation processes and procedures.
• Educate customers on proper care and maintenance and promote all HVAC options.
• Complete general and specific HVAC equipment inspections.
• Maintain a clean, fully stocked vehicle.
• Promote our products and services on every call.
• Provide a five‑star experience on every call or make it right before leaving the customer’s home.
• Request online reviews from customers as appropriate.
• Contribute to our high standards of health and safety.
