Salary: $41.00 per hour

Wildstone is a General Contractor currently looking for a Journeyperson Sheet Metal Worker to join our team. We work on projects such as Wastewater / Water Treatment Plants, energy and institutional projects, new multi-family builds, and commercial builds.

You will travel for work to locations throughout BC, the Yukon, and occasionally the Northwest Territories. Our crews typically work 21/7 rotations, travel in and out of various locations, work 10-hour shifts on average with a daily LOA, and enjoy the comforts of home in well-maintained crew houses.

As our newest Sheet Metal Worker, your expertise and attention to detail will be key as you install ductwork, ventilation systems, and make-up air systems, ensuring everything is aligned with the plans and specifications. You will be an essential part of our mechanical team, ensuring your scope of work on a project gets completed on time.

Responsibilities:

1. Plan and manage work schedules, adjusting as needed to keep things on track.
2. Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work with specifications.
3. Repair existing air and heat ducts and hoods, ensuring continued efficiency.
4. Handle tools and equipment with care, making sure everything stays in great shape.
5. Prioritize safety by complying with all safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• You are a certified Journeyperson Sheet Metal Worker with experience on ICI projects.
• You have a strong working knowledge of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC).
• You are dependable, a self-starter, and punctual.
• You have a history of working safely and maintaining equipment in top condition.
• You are willing to travel to various locations across Canada.
• You have or are willing to obtain tickets such as Fall Protection, WHMIS 2015, Elevated Work Platform, Level 1 First Aid, and H2S Alive.
