Job Description:

Major Job Functions:

• Troubleshooting and repairing Caterpillar and other mechanical equipment in a service-oriented gas compression environment
• Interfacing with customers, products, and sales support
• Supporting on-site safety requirements
• Maintaining Finning's Customer Service Commitment
• Performing various related duties as required

Note: Candidate selection will comply with the current Collective Agreement.

Specific Skills & Experience:

• Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician certification (Red Seal preferred)
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience repairing CAT equipment
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Completion or ongoing completion of all Finning S-level courses
• Self-motivated and computer literate
• Experience with Costwatcher, DBS, SIS, Warranty Systems, and a good understanding of Finning systems is advantageous
• Customer-oriented with motivation to meet expectations
• Ability to work safely with minimal supervision
• Work hours are Monday to Friday day shift; shift work may be required in the future
• A recent driver’s abstract is required
• Candidate must reside in Golden

Note: Future shift changes will adhere to the Collective Agreement.
