JOB TITLE: Journeyperson / Powerline Technician
JOB RATE: $51.18/hr – 40hrs/week

WHAT WE OFFER:
POSITION SUMMARYTo accommodate our growing community and customer centric approach, Milton Hydro is looking to grow our Powerline Technician Team’s complement. Reporting to the Supervisor of Operations, this position is responsible the construction, maintenance, operation and troubleshooting of the electric distribution system (overhead and underground) on all voltages.
The successful candidate will perform emergency call-out and on call duties, and work under emergency conditions, with the willingness and ability to respond and be on the work site within 45 minutes of receiving the call. Candidates will be required to comply and be familiar with Company work practices and standards, operating rules, and regulations, as well as all pertinent OHSA and regulations.This is a full-time unionized position.
