Job summary

North America Construction (1993) Ltd. – NAC Constructors Ltd. (NAC) is seeking a Plumber Journeyperson or Level 4+ Plumber Apprentice for water and wastewater plant projects at Windsor, ON and Courtright, ON.

Furnished accommodations are provided for qualified non-local candidates. Responsibilities include installing PVC storm sewer piping, assembling and testing piping systems, and following blueprints and specifications.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified Plumber.
• 2+ years experience on heavy construction projects is an asset.
• WHMIS, Elevated Work Platform and Working at Heights certificates are required.

Responsibilities

• Install 6" and 10" PVC SDR 35 storm sewer piping.
• Inspect, test, and verify installed systems and pipe lines.
• Lay out full scale drawings of pipe systems from blueprints.
• Plan pipe system layout and install or repair per specifications.
• Handle pipe cutting, threading, and fitting with appropriate tools.
• Select pipe sizes and materials according to specs.
• Ensure site safety and adherence to procedures.
