Job summary

NAC Constructors Ltd. (NAC) is seeking a Plumber Journeyperson or Level 4+ Plumber Apprentice for water and wastewater plant projects, initially at the St. Paul Pump Station in Windsor, ON and the St.

Clair WWTP in Courtright, ON. Furnished accommodations provided to qualified non-local candidates. Responsibilities include installing 6"–10" PVC storm sewer piping, cast iron, copper, boiler installs, fabricating and testing pipe systems, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards

Qualifications

• Must be a certified plumber.
• 2+ years of heavy construction experience is an asset.
• Experience with 2"–20" pipe and large bore PVC piping.
• Experience in site services and hoisting/rigging is an asset.
• Ability to work independently and reliably.

Responsibilities

• Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain, troubleshoot and repair piping systems.
• Inspect, test and commission pipe installations to ensure safety and quality.
• Install storm sewer piping (6" and 10" PVC SDR 35) and related components.
• Cut, thread, and assemble pipes with appropriate tools.
• Follow blueprints and specifications for system layout and installation.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping on work sites.
