Job summary

Maple Reinders Constructors Ltd. is hiring Journeyperson Pipefitters or Plumbers for the Duffin Creek WPCP project in Ontario, Canada. The role involves reading drawings, establishing control points, leading on-site tasks, and installing piping systems (PVC/HDPE, stainless steel) and equipment.

Prior experience in industrial or commercial construction is valuable, with Zoom Boom as an asset. We offer competitive CLAC wages, weekly pay, health benefits, vacation pay, and apprenticeship

Qualifications

• Read and interpret drawings to identify interferences and set control points.
• Show leadership on-site and coordinate activities with trades.
• Experience with compressed air piping and process hot/cold water piping systems.
• Experience with PVC/HDPE and stainless-steel piping.
• Ability to install mechanical equipment and architectural hardware.
• Transfer levels accurately over long distances.
• Rigging and installing equipment on site.
• Mechanical bolt-up on project equipment.
• Industrial or commercial construction experience is beneficial.
• Knowledge of water treatment/wastewater facility construction is a plus.
• Zoom Boom ticket is an asset.

Responsibilities

Journeyperson Pipefitter or Plumber

Maple Reinders Constructors Ltd. is seeking experienced Journeyperson Pipefitters or Plumbers for the Duffin Creek WPCP project. This is a great opportunity to work on a significant infrastructure project with one of Canada's Best Managed Companies and be part of a dynamic, industry-leading team.

Responsibilities/Qualifications:

• Reading & interpreting interferences from all drawings
• Establishing control points with accuracy
• Able to provide leadership
• Experience with compressed air piping and process hot/cold water piping systems
• Experience with PVC/HDPE and stainless-steel piping
• Able to install various types of mechanical equipment and architectural hardware
• Able to transfer levels over large distances with accuracy
• Rigging and installing equipment
• Mechanical bolt-up
• Experience with industrial and/or commercial construction is an asset
• Knowledge of water treatment and/or wastewater treatment facility construction an asset
• Valid Zoom Boom Ticket is considered an asset
