Job summary

Maple Reinders Constructors Ltd currently seeks Concrete Formwork Carpenters and Journeymen to support upcoming civil construction projects in Dundalk, Ontario. Join a respected firm delivering innovative solutions with a strong safety record.

You will interpret blueprints, build and install formwork, strip after pours, and assist foremen with layouts while upholding quality and safety standards. Valid driver’s license and own vehicle are required. Competitive wages and benefits offered.

• Experience with prefabricated and stick formwork; ensure quality control.
• Strip forms after concrete pours and assist with layout.
• Maintain site safety and report hazards.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and project plans.
• Pre-fab gang forms, job-built forms, install forms and ensure quality control.
• Strip and remove concrete forms after pours.
• Support the foreman with layout and elevation shooting.
• Align, plumb and square forms for installation.
• Erect and disassemble scaffolding and temporary structures.
• Construct suspended slabs and install handrails.
• Report unsafe work practices to Foreman.

Concrete Formwork Carpenter / Journeyman

Maple Reinders Constructors Ltd is currently looking for Concrete Formwork Carpenters and Journeyman to work on upcoming Civil construction project in Dundalk, Ontario. This is your chance to work with one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies!

Qualifications:

• Correctly interpret blueprints, specifications and project plans
• Pre-fab gang forms, job built stick forms, install forms and ensure quality control of formwork
• Stripping and removal of concrete forms after pours
• Provide support to the concrete foreman with project layout and elevation shooting
• Help manage and prevent occupational hazards and ensure the site meets all safety standards
• Install form ties and misc formwork hardware
• Align, straighten, plumb and square forms for installation
• Erect and disassemble scaffolding, shoring, braces and other temporary structures
• Construct suspended slabs
• Must have a valid driver's license and your own vehicle
• Install handrails
• Report any unsafe work practices or safety hazards to Foreman
