Job summary

Strike Group in Prince George, British Columbia, is seeking Journeyperson Pipefitters for the Mount Bracey Compressor Station project. Responsibilities include reading drawings, following FIWP, supporting outage activities, and working under LOTO to install, maintain, and remove valves and components.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret red-line drawings and isometrics.
• Follow FIWP and participate in outages.
• Assist journeyperson pipefitters with turnaround activities.
• Work under Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Install blinds and remove accessories for outage activities.
• Clean welds inside equipment.
• Work in confined space environments.
• Remove and reinstall various valves including PSV, Gate, Globe, and Control Valves.
• Remove and replace worn components and reactivate systems.

Job description

Location: Prince George, British Columbia (Camp Project)

Position Summary

Journeyperson Pipefitters possess the full range of knowledge required to lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems, pipe supports, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for oil, steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling, and industrial production and processing systems.

Project Details

• Project Name: Mount Bracey Compressor Station
• Nearest City: Prince City: Prince George, B.C
• Shift: 14 days on / 7 days off
• Travel Allowance: $400/shift
• Camp Retention: $25/day

Core Accountabilities

• Read and interpret red‑line construction drawings and blueprints (Isometrics, P&IDs, etc.)
• Able to follow Field Installation Work Packages (FIWP)
• Assist journeyperson pipefitters with turnaround activities
• Work under Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
• Install blinds and remove accessories for outage activities
• Clean welds inside equipment
• Work in confined space environments
• Remove and re‑install various valves including PSV, Gate, Globe, and Control Valves
• Remove and replace worn components and reactivate systems
