Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for all aspects of millwright maintenance in the milling complex and surrounding areas, including preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, and developing maintenance programs.
2. Rebuilding pumps of various types and sizes.
3. Removing pumps, fans, and agitators for maintenance.
4. Replacing bearings, changing belts and sheaves, and making adjustments.
5. Performing oil changes on equipment.
6. Occasional welding and fabricating tasks.
7. Maintaining a safe and organized working environment.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Interprovincial Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic ticket required.
• Machining experience and/or a Journeyperson Machinist certification is an asset.
• Welding experience and/or a Journeyperson Welder certification is an asset.
• Good understanding of pumps and other mechanical equipment related to mill operation.
• Willingness to work independently when necessary.
• Ability to work as part of a team to ensure safe and efficient mill operation.
• Willingness to utilize all skills acquired in the millwright trade.
• Willingness to assist other trades as needed.
• Priority will be given to residents of Saskatchewan's North.

Work Location & Schedule:

• McClean Lake
• 14 days on/14 days off rotating schedule
• Typically an 11-hour workday, with some activities outside normal hours.
• Moderate physical ability required.
