Position Summary

The Journeyperson Technician performs preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems in the assigned facility.

Qualifications

• Certification as HVAC Journeyperson, Electrician Journeyperson, Millwright Journeyperson, 3rd Class Power Engineer, or Plumber Journeyperson
• Gas ticket is a strong asset

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on facility systems
• Monitor and inspect mechanical and electrical equipment
• Respond to service requests and ensure safety and compliance
• Maintain documentation of work and assist in projects
• Adhere to safety policies and maintain tools
• Enhance tenant satisfaction and support facility operations

Work Requirements

• Willingness to wear PPE
• Compliance with safety and environmental policies

Skills & Experience

• Over 3 years of facility maintenance experience
• High school diploma plus relevant trades training
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills
• Knowledge of safety codes and standards
• Effective communication and client service skills
