En charge de l'entretien et de la réparation d'équipements miniers, vous devrez diagnostiquer les systèmes mécaniques et électriques, tout en participant à un environnement de travail axé sur la sécurité et l'innovation. Le poste nécessite un certificat 421A et une expérience préalable dans le domaine.

Qualifications

  • Certification 421A, expérience sur équipements LHD, camions, jumbos et bolters.

Be part of something BIG! Komatsu is looking for an experienced underground heavy-duty technician to support our Underground Hard Rock Mining business. If you like to be challenged, thrive in environments where every day will be different and enjoy traveling to different customer sites to help them solve problems, we want to hear from you.We are open to candidates living in the Sudbury, Timmins, Thunder Bay, or Red Lake areas.

Reports to: Service Manager, Hard Rock Distribution
Shift: 5x2, Monday-Friday
Allowances: this role is eligible for an underground premium
Safety Sensitive: Yes- drug & alcohol testing, physical demand fit testing, RCMP criminal record check and submission of 5-year provincial driving record will be required Travel: Up to 35% travel required for this role
Relocation: This role is eligible for relocation within Canada

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Maintain, repair, and service underground mining equipment
  • Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
  • Adjust, repair, or replace defective equipment parts and components at customer locations
  • Participate in and be committed to a strong safety culture
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Must possess 421A /Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician or JourneypersonHeavy Duty Mechaniccertification, Red Seal is an asset
  • Experience working on underground LHD's, trucks, jumbos & bolters is required
  • Ability to travel and work overtime as needed
  • A valid Driver’s License is required
  • Must be able to safely lift 50lbs unassisted
  • Previous experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems is required
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings
  • Detail oriented and have a high level of accuracy
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivated, can multi-task and manage changes in responsibilities
  • Able to demonstrate aptitude for problem-solving
  • Result-oriented and able to work both independently and within a team
  • Ability to work with Microsoft Office applications
