Overview

Reports to : Service Manager

Shift : 7x7, 12 hours per day – rotational between days and nights

Location : Prince George, BC

Relocation : This position does not offer relocation

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, repair, service and inspection of the mining equipment
• Able to diagnose Mechanical, HVAC, Electrical systems. Hydraulic experience is an asset.
• Adjust, repair or replace all defective equipment parts, components or systems serviced at customer sites
• Test the repaired equipment for proper performance
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision and part of a team.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson HDET orMillwright including Red Seal Certification
• 4-7 years of mining, construction, dealership experience
• Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals relating to manufacturer specifications and warranty environments
• Must have a demonstrated ability to efficiently diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair issues in mechanical systems.
• Must have no restrictions for access for any mine sites
• Good organizational and planning skills
• Hold a strong standard for quality and safety
