Shermco Canada is seeking a motivated and safety minded Apprentice Electrician to join our Saskatchewan Electrical Services team in Saskatoon. Our Electrical Services team provides electrical construction, maintenance, and specialty services and solutions to our many clients in industrial sectors such as Utility, Mining, Oil & Gas, Technology and many more. From 24v to 230kV, our team does it all.

Responsibilities
  • Construct, alter, repair, and test all electrical components that are integral to the operations of industrial activities and electrical systems.
  • Install new and maintain low, medium, and high voltage equipment.
  • Work in industrial work settings and environments.
  • Work around energized power and control equipment.
  • Contribute to the execution of completing work safety.
  • Work safely in a fast-paced environment.
  • Perform all duties to a level of competency, normally expected of an Apprentice Electrician.
  • Will be responsible to become familiar with, abide by, and to administer the Shermco Health, Personnel and Safety policies.
  • Will adhere to Shermco’s Alcohol and Drug Policy as defined; and
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Experience in industrial or commercial setting considered an asset.
  • Industrial facility safe work qualifications/training considered asset.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and able to maintain a clean abstract.
  • Available for out-of-town work based on varying project requirements.
