HighLine Group of Companies in Alberta is seeking an Electrical tradesperson to install and maintain traffic signal structures and streetlighting. The role involves reading blueprints, troubleshooting faults, and ensuring highway safety compliance.

You will work with a team, mentor apprentices, and contribute to safety and training programs while delivering high-quality electrical installations across our Calgary area offices.

Qualifications

• Hold Journeyperson Red Seal ticket.
• Experience with traffic signals and streetlights.
• Ability to read blueprints and surveys.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Familiar with highway safety regulations.

Responsabilités

Job Duties

• Installing Traffic Signal & Streetlight structures.

• Troubleshoot streetlights and cable faults
• Troubleshoot and install Traffic Signals
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematic diagrams
• Install and maintain power distributions
• Understand Highway safety regulations
• Experience pouring concrete is an asset
• Read and interpret survey and grade stakes

• Possession of Journeyperson Red Seal ticket

• IMSA Traffic Signal certification is considered a valuable asset.

• Ability to prioritize activities, working independently or with a team

• Great communication skills
• Experience with streetlights, trenching and traffic signals
• Ability to teach and mentor apprentice
• Ability to learn other skills while on the job
