Title: Journeyperson- Automotive Technician

Location- Mount Pearl, NL

Description: We are seeking a journeyperson Automotive Technician to join our customer focused and safety-oriented team.

Work Expectation:

1. Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of motor vehicles.
2. Review work orders and discuss work with management and/or customer.
3. Inspect vehicle operation, road test motor vehicles, and test systems and components for repair diagnostics.
4. Able to work independently with little supervision.
5. Attention to detail.
6. Good computer skills.
7. Good communication skills both verbal & written.
8. Hours of Operation is 8:00AM to 5:00PM – Monday thru Friday.
9. Permanent position.

The Ideal Candidate:

1. A skilled journeyperson (Red Seal Certified) that works well within a team environment.
2. Willing and eager to work with apprentices to enable their progression in the trade.
3. Must be able and willing to take assignments as directed from management team.
4. A valid driving license is non-negotiable. Applicant must provide a satisfactory driver's abstract.
5. 3rd or 4th year Apprentice may be considered.

Compensation:

1. Competitive compensation: $32.99 - $41.79 per hour for journeyperson.
