We are seeking experienced Journeyperson and Apprentice Ironworkers for an LNG construction project in Squamish BC. Join the Ledcor/Bird General Partnership team (LB LNG), committed to safety. Responsibilities include operating according to quality, safety, and efficiency standards.

Responsibilities
  1. Construct steel structures by stick building
  2. Bolt and impact
  3. Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan work
  4. Position and align steel, insert temporary bolts, check alignments, join steel parts
  5. Heavy lift, rigging, and setting building modules
  6. Work at heights up to 75ft
  7. Complete tasks safely, efficiently, and on time, adhering to safety and quality standards
Requirements
  1. Journeyperson Ironworker certification or registered apprenticeship with a recognized provincial authority
  2. Pre-employment drug & alcohol testing completed successfully
  3. Valid Driver's License and a clear 3-year driver’s abstract
  4. Valid Fall protection ticket
  5. CSTS-2020 or Site Ready BC certification
Work Conditions
  1. Preference for applicants residing in Squamish or nearby due to project location
  2. 14 days on / 7 days off rotational shift, 10-12 hour days
  3. Camp accommodation provided
  4. Travel allowance / flights from approved locations
  5. Extended Health Benefits through CLAC
Compensation

$35.44 - $43.16 per hour

This wage range is based on certification, experience, and location. Additional incentives may be available for remote or site-based roles, including travel and accommodation allowances.
