PCL Construction is seeking Journeyperson and Apprentice Structural Ironworkers for the Dow F2S Cracker Separation Civil Project near Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. Roles include industrial/modular ironworking with outdoor duties, day shifts, and a need to be able to climb and lift up to 50 lbs.

Required certifications and affiliations include CSTS 09/2020, ESC Fall Protection, Elevated Work Platform, and membership with Ironworkers Local 720. Start date ASAP.

Qualifications

  • Must be registered Ironworker Apprentice or Journeyperson Ironworker (Structural).
  • CSTS 09 or 2020 Fundamental.
  • ESC Fall Protection.
  • ESC Elevated Work Platform.
  • Experience with structural steel erection in industrial and modular construction.
  • Strong understanding of lifting, rigging, and hoisting procedures.
  • Must be willing to be affiliated with the Ironworkers Local 720.

Responsibilities

  • Perform structural ironwork on the Dow F2S Cracker Separation Civil Project near Fort Saskatchewan, AB.
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions and at elevations.
  • Be physically able to meet call-outs, climb and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • On site at Mod Yard with day shift; 4-10 and 8 hours on Friday.
  • Complete client and PCL orientations and follow safety protocols.

PCL Industrial is seeking Journeyperson and Apprentice Structural Ironworkers with industrial experience for the Dow F2S Cracker Separation Civil Project located near Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta.

Requirements:

  • Registered Ironworker Apprentice or Journeyperson Ironworker (Structural)
  • CSTS 09 or 2020 Fundamental
  • ESC Fall Protection
  • ESC Elevated Work Platform
  • Experience with structural steel erection in industrial, and modular construction
  • Strong understanding of lifting, rigging, and hoisting procedures

Work Conditions & Remuneration:

  • Must be able to work outside in various types of weather conditions
  • Candidates MUST be qualified for and physically able to meet the call-out. You are required to climb and work at elevations, lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • On Site - Mod Yard
  • Day Shift
  • 4-10 & 8hrs on Friday
  • Client & PCL Online Orientations
  • No pre-access alcohol and drug test required
  • Candidates must be eligible for hire/rehire with the PCL Family of Companies

Compensation:As per the Collective Agreement and the PLA Division 8 Agreement

  • 3rd year:$48.42/hr + benefits
  • 2nd year:$40.35/hr + benefits
