Jardeg is recruiting Apprentice and Journeyperson Carpenters to join Technical Workforce Inc. at the Moose Jaw Joint Use School Project!

This position is in Moose Jaw, SK and does not have camp accommodations, travel allowance, or living out allowance.

Shift is 5 days on 2 days off– with occasional nights and weekends.

Responsibilities:
  1. Be able to comprehend blueprint readings and prepare layouts
  2. Understand industrial concrete forming, be able to build concrete forms, and other structures
  3. Complete rough and finishing carpentry tasks, while utilizing appropriate math skills
  4. Check completed units to be sure they are level, square, plumb and the right size, shape and location
  5. Organization and site clean up as per site HSE standards
  6. Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
  1. Registered Apprentice; Journeyperson OR an equivalent combination of experience, training, and education
  2. CSTS Certification & WHMIS 2015
  3. Fall Protection and Confined Space is an asset
  4. Light equipment operating experience an asset
  5. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  6. Describe and point out safety compliance and regulatory issues
