Job summary

Supreme International in Wetaskiwin, AB is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Welder for a full-time, Monday to Friday role from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. Overtime and weekends may be required to meet production needs.

You will read prints, weld components using MIG and wire processes, operate cutting equipment, and inspect welds to ensure quality. Safety, craftsmanship, and teamwork are emphasized in a structured shop environment.

Qualifications

  • Alberta Journeyman Welder certification required.
  • Minimum 2 years welding experience.
  • Strong MIG and wire welding experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Solid understanding of workplace safety, PPE, and lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Physically able to perform hands-on industrial work.

Responsibilities

  • Weld and fabricate components using MIG and wire welding processes.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols.
  • Operate welding and cutting equipment (GMAW, plasma cutter, oxyacetylene torch).
  • Inspect welds to ensure quality, strength, and consistency.
  • Maintain high standards of safety, accuracy, and workmanship.
  • Support continuous improvement and shop efficiency.
  • Keep workspace clean, organized, and safe.
  • Act as a role model for safety and production best practices.

Manufacturing Welder – Quality & Consistency Focused

We're hiring a skilled welder to support our manufacturing operations.
You will work from prints and produce consistent, high-quality welds as part of an established production process.
This is a structured shop environment where teamwork and communication keep things running smoothly.
You will be expected to maintain quality standards and complete work efficiently and accurately.
We're looking for someone dependable who takes pride in doing things right the first time.

What You'll Be Doing

Required Qualifications

  • Physically able to perform hands‑on industrial work
Assets
  • Production or manufacturing welding experience
  • Strong fabrication and fit‑up skills
  • Experience mentoring or supporting junior welders

Working Conditions

  • Physically demanding role (lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, crouching, climbing)

This is a safety-sensitive position. Successful candidates must pass required pre-employment testing, including functional fitness, mask fit, audiometric testing, and drug/alcohol screening.

  • Monday to Friday
  • 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
  • Overtime and weekends as required by production needs
