A leading manufacturing company is seeking a Journeyman/Apprentice Welder for their Calgary facility. You'll be responsible for welding light gauge steel, aluminum, and stainless steel, with morning shifts and potential overtime. Candidates must have at least first-year apprenticeship status and experience with FCAW and GMAW.

Position Description

As a Journeyman/Apprentice Welder, you will be accountable for FCAW and GMAW welding of light gauge steel, aluminum, and/or stainless steel.

Morning shift, 6:00am – 2:30pm, Monday -Friday

Required Education & Qualifications

• Minimum 1st year apprentice.
• Proven experience with welding using FCAW and GMAW
• Ability to accurately read drawings.
• Experience performing preventative maintenance on welding equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Open to overtime on weekdays and/or weekends, when required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience using shears and press brakes will be considered an asset.
