Qualifications

Job description

Join the team at IMARK Architectural Metals, where craftsmanship meets innovation. As a Welder Fabricator in our state-of-the-art fabrication facility, you’ll play a vital role in producing high-quality architectural metal components. This is a physically demanding, hands-on role that involves working with a range of non-ferrous metals, including stainless steel, aluminum, and copper.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Interpret blueprints and welding specifications accurately
  • Weld metal components using GTAW, GMAW, SMAW, and TIG welding processes
  • Operate shears, brakes, and other metal forming machinery
  • Perform manual or semi-automatic flame cutting
  • Straighten, bend, and polish metal to required specifications
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with COR-certified safety standards

Qualifications :

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in metal fabrication
  • Extensive experience with non-ferrous metals (stainless steel, aluminum, copper)
  • Proficiency in TIG welding and polishing stainless steel
  • Strong understanding of light gauge steel and custom fabrication
  • Ability to lift 20 kg or more
  • Experience with shears, brakes, and other shop equipment
  • High school diploma (minimum); technical training preferred
  • Strong English communication skills (spoken and written)
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Must have your own welding helmet and CSA-approved steel-toe work boots
