About the Role:

NCSG Crane & Heavy Haul Services Ltd. is accepting applications for a Journeyman Taxi Mobile Crane Operator. Based in Terrace, BC, supporting the branch and surrounding area. Responsibilities include Lifting and Rigging Services, Taxi work, and occasional project work. Wage based on the Crane Rental Collective Agreement. Employer contributions to union health, pension, and training plans.

Your Responsibilities:

• Assemble/Disassemble crane
• Follow road and crane regulations
• Perform pre-operational inspections and hazard assessments
• Operate mobile crane for lifting, moving, and positioning
• Perform routine maintenance
• Represent the company professionally and resolve customer concerns
• Attend toolbox meetings
• Communicate effectively and stay alert
• Maintain good interpersonal skills and customer service
• Understand equipment operations and limitations
• Make minor repairs as needed

Qualifications:

• Journeyman Red Seal Mobile Crane Certification
• Valid Class 1 Driver’s License (preferred with clean abstract)
• Membership or willingness to join Operating Engineers Local 115 Union
• Local or willing to relocate to Terrace, BC
• Reliable transportation
• Availability for out-of-town work
• Certifications: CSTS 2020, WHMIS 2015, H2S Alive, First Aid, Fall Protection
• Minimum 1 year taxi experience with Dolly, operating Liebherr, Tadano, Grove, Manitowoc, Liebherr crawler, or Manitex Boom truck experience (assets)
