Job summary

Randstad Canada is hiring Journeyman Structural Welders for a leading Western Canadian fabricator in Nisku, Alberta. Work heavy structural welds, multi-pass FCAW/MCAW, and contribute to a booked backlog past 2027.

Shifts Mon-Thu 6:30 AM-4:00 PM and Fri 6:30 AM-2:45 PM; pay $38.00-$40.00/hour with overtime. This full-time role offers temp-to-perm status, strong job security, and hands-on training with advanced welding rigs.

Qualifications

• Valid Alberta Journeyperson or Interprovincial Red Seal ticket.
• Valid CWB FCAW/MCAW tickets across shop positions.
• Experience welding heavy-gauge structural assemblies.
• Safety-first mindset with reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Heavy structural work on beams, columns and trusses.
• Weld to CWB tolerances per blueprint details.
• Merge manual wire-feed with automated/robotic rigs.
• Coordinate with crane teams and fabricators on assemblies.
• Uphold housekeeping and PPE practices across shifts.
