Job summary

1Click Energy Solutions in Port Coquitlam is seeking a skilled Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic to install, service, and maintain residential heat pump systems.

You will work in the field with homeowners across the Lower Mainland, bringing technical expertise, safety, and excellent customer service while adhering to local codes and standards.

Qualifications

• Red Seal Certification: Journeyman Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic (or 4th-year Apprentice with strong residential experience).
• Gas Fitter Class B license highly preferred.
• BC Class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstract.
• Familiarity with Vancouver and surrounding areas' residential architecture and local municipal codes.
• Strong problem-solving skills, punctuality, and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Installation: High-quality installations of heat pump-based heating and cooling systems.
• Service & Repair: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment with accurate service records.

1Click Energy Solutions is seeking a skilled Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic (RACM) to join our growing team in Port Coquitlam. This role is focused on the installation, maintenance, and service of residential electric heat pumps.

You will be the face of the company in the field, providing technical expertise and exceptional customer service to homeowners across the Lower Mainland.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation: Perform high-quality installations of heat pump-based heating and cooling systems.
• Service & Repair: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment as needed, while keeping accurate service records.
• Maintenance: Conduct annual inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure system longevity and efficiency.
• Engagement: Communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues, customers and managers, while keeping a positive attitude.

What You Bring

• Red Seal Certification: Journeyman Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic (or 4th-year Apprentice with strong residential experience).
• Gas Fitter License: Class B Gas Fitter ticket is highly preferred.
• Driver’s License: Valid BC Class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstract.
