Job summary

Gateway-Mechanical-Services is seeking Journeyman or Apprentice Refrigeration Technicians for a busy Alberta operation in Fort McMurray. You’ll handle service calls, construction projects, and installations across a mix of environments.

You’ll work with a highly skilled team, learn fast, and contribute to safe, quality outcomes on every job. On‑call rotation and a valid Class 5 license are required.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Cert or Apprentice (with solid experience).
• 2+ years experience (supermarket = big bonus).
• Willingness for on-call rotation; Valid Class 5 license.

Responsibilities

• Service calls, construction, and project installs — the full mix.
• You get to work on a little bit of everything.
• Jump between fixing breakdowns and building new systems from the ground up.
• Work on construction sites, retrofits, small and large-scale projects.
• Problem-solving, troubleshooting, and getting it done right.
