Job summary

Black & McDonald Limited is seeking a Journeyperson Piping Welder or Pressure Piping Welder to join its Fabrication Division. Candidate will weld pipe components using GMAW(STT), FCAW, GTW and SMAW while adhering to safety standards.

Requirements include Journeyperson Red Seal and TSASK qualifications; preference for Welder Certification Ticket and CWB asset. The role supports a family-owned, long-standing construction and facilities management provider.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson red seal
• TSASK qualified welders or able to meet the TSASK quality of hiring
• Preference to hold Welder Certification Ticket as per GMAW(STT)/FCAW/GTW/SMAW welding processes
• CWB welding certificate is an asset
• Ability to work in a fabrication shop while maintaining safety standards

Responsibilities

• Weld pipe components according to GMAW(STT)/FCAW/GTW/SMAW Welding Processes
• Able to pass x-ray of weld joints
• Work with the QA/QC, Piping and Fabrication shop to ensure standards are met
• Maintain high safety standards in accordance with Black & McDonald safety programs
• Must be able to weld using GMAW(STT)/FCAW/GTW/SMAW processes at all positions
