Job summary

North Battleford LUK Plumbing, Heating, & Electric Ltd is seeking a skilled plumber for full-time opportunities in North Battleford. This role involves installing and repairing plumbing fixtures for commercial and industrial settings, reading blueprints, and supervising apprentices.

Eligibility requires 3–5 years of experience and a Technical/Applied Science Certificate. You will work 35–45 hours per week and may be eligible for a bonus and RRSP benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of plumbing experience.
• Technical/Applied Science Certificate required.
• Ability to read blueprints and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Install domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems.
• Repair domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems.
• Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems.
• Instruct apprentices.
• Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors.
• Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings.
• Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment.
• Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
• Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
• Supervise other workers.
• Measure, cut, thread and bend pipes to required shape and size.
