Job summary

ARG-PLUMBING in Calgary, Alberta is seeking enthusiastic Journeyman Plumbers to join our full-time, permanent team. You will read blueprints, interpret specifications, and install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial and residential buildings.

The role requires a Journeyman/Journeywoman Plumber license and minimum five years of experience, with strong independence and teamwork skills, and a commitment to code compliance and safety. Pay is CAD 26.55–45.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Journeyman/Journeywoman Plumber license or equivalent certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a plumber.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and installation of plumbing systems.
• Ground Rough IN & Trunk lines
• Plumbing Drainage Rough in including Waterlines, Venting, Tubs Installation
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in commercial and residential buildings.
• Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures using hand and power tools.
• Cut, thread, and bend pipes using pipe cutters, pipe threading machines, and pipe bending machines.
• Test plumbing systems for leaks using air pressure gauges.
