Job summary

Canoco Energy Services, Edmonton, is seeking Journeyman Pipefitters and Apprentices for a turnaround project starting on site. You will perform pipefitting tasks, read isometrics, and work within safety and quality standards.

Qualified candidates have a Journeyman or Apprentice certificate, oil & gas experience, and required certifications (H2S Alive, Confined Space, Fall Protection, CSTS/CSO, WHMIS 2015). Valid Class 5 license preferred.

Qualifications

• Journeyman or Apprentice certificate in pipefitting.
• Experience in the oil & gas industry.
• Certifications: H2S Alive, Confined Space, Fall Protection, CSTS/CSO, WHMIS 2015.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret isometric drawings.
• Pipefitting tasks: measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, bolt-ups, torquing, bending.
• Problem solve in turnaround or shop environments.
• Maintain safety and quality standards; communicate clearly.
• Mentor apprentices where applicable.

Position: Journeyman Pipefitters/Apprentices – Turnaround

We are currently hiring Journeyman/Apprentice Pipefitters (employees & DSPs) for a turnaround project starting at CNRL - FlFO out with competitive rates.

Qualifications & Education:

• Journeyman or Apprentice Certificate in Pipefitting
• Relevant experience in the Oil & Gas industry
• Required certifications: H2S Alive, Confined Space, Fall Protection, CSTS or CSO, WHMIS 2015, Confined Space and Fall Protection
  
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
  

Skills, Attributes, and Responsibilities:

• Ability to read and interpret isometric drawings
• Strong pipefitting background including measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, bolt-ups, torquing, and bending
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt in a turnaround or shop environment
• Effective communication skills with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
• Ensure all work meets Canoco safety standards and client-specific requirements
• Willingness to support team development, share knowledge, and mentor apprentices where applicable
