Job summary

Canoco Energy is gearing up for an exciting turnaround in Fort McMurray – Start ASAP. We are seeking skilled pipefitters to perform safe, efficient work throughout the turnaround and to read isometric drawings.

Qualified candidates will hold a Registered Apprentice Pipefitter certification and have Oil & Gas or industrial turnaround experience, plus essential safety certifications. Valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Registered Apprentice Pipefitter certification.
• Oil & Gas or industrial turnaround experience.
• Ability to read and interpret isometric drawings.
• Strong pipefitting skills including measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, bolt-ups, torquing and bending.
• Current certifications: H2S Alive, Confined Space Entry, Fall Protection, CSTS/CSO, WHMIS 2015.
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe, efficient pipefitting work throughout the turnaround.
• Read and interpret isometric drawings.
• Complete installations, repairs, bolt-ups, torquing and fabrication tasks.
• Maintain Canoco's safety, quality and productivity standards.
• Collaborate with your crew to keep the turnaround on schedule.
