Job description

Alstar Group of Companies Ltd. has been providing quality construction services to the oil & gas industry since 1969. Located in Calgary & Leduc with projects throughout Western Canada, we are a leader in the industry for turn-key new construction, maintenance and prefabrication.

We are looking for Journeyman Pipefitters, Camp with accommodations provided and flat rate to cover travel - typically covers flights, or travel by vehicle. We offer 4 shifts, 21 day shutdown, 19 day shutdown, 10/4 rotation & 8/6 rotation.

What we’re looking for from you – If this describes you, we’d love to meet!

• Journeyman pipefitter certification
• CSTS-20, WHMIS 2015, CSO, Standard First Aid, HS2 Alive and Fall Protection
• Successfully complete a pre-access drug and alcohol testing
• Valid apprenticeship ticket
• Oil and gas experience preferred, not required, comfortable working in all weather conditions
• Willingness to travel away from home for extended periods of time

Where our projects are located:

• Our projects happen in 4 major sites in Western Canada, which include locations like Bonnyville AB, Fort McMurray AB, Lac La Biche AB and Fort St. John BC.
• You will be required to travel on your own, by vehicle or plane. Alstar does provide a flat rate to cover travel and will typically cover flights well.
