We are currently seeking to add a 4th Year Apprentice or Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team based out of Calgary, AB.
The Heavy Duty Mechanic performs tasks in the mechanical servicing, repair, and maintenance of KBL’s fleet of heavy equipment.

Physical Requirements:
This position requires standing for extended periods, in addition to walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling with occasional sitting. Must be capable of heavy lifting and moving parts up to 75 lbs. on a consistent basis.
Working Environment:
This job will require some overtime hours. Some work is completed in our facilities in Leduc and Edmonton; however, travel will be required to complete roadside repairs in all weather conditions. The noise level in the environment can be excessive, and shop staff can be exposed to high temperatures, fumes, and toxic chemicals. Travel to NWT/Yukon will be required from time to time.
