Job summary

PTW Energy Services Ltd is seeking a Journeyperson Instrumentation Technician to join the Oil & Gas Maintenance team. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical systems across oil and gas facilities.

The role requires a certified Journeyman Instrumentation Technician with at least 5 years in maintenance/oilfield settings, strong safety focus, and ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• Certified Journeyman Instrumentation Technician
• Minimum 5 years of maintenance and industrial oilfield experience
• Valid safety certifications: CSO, H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, Fall Protection, AWP, WHMIS 2015
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Assist client maintenance team and provide shift coverage for well pad preventative maintenance
• Perform daily maintenance on well pads and heavy oil facilities
• Work independently and as part of a team to complete field maintenance tasks safely and efficiently
• Support accurate completion of field documentation and reporting
• Follow site-specific safety procedures and regulations
• Collaborate with site teams to maintain equipment reliability and uptime
• Identify and resolve maintenance issues and recommend preventative maintenance

Role Summary

• Working Hours: 12 hours per day
