Job Title: Journeyman HVAC Technician

Location: Vancouver, BC

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour depending on experience

About the Position: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman HVAC Technician to join our team in Vancouver, BC. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience as a Journeyman, with a strong background in commercial HVAC systems. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation.
• Perform regular maintenance to ensure HVAC systems are operating at peak performance.
• Follow safety protocols and industry standards to ensure safe and effective work practices.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients to explain repairs and maintenance.
• Keep detailed records of all work performed, including services provided and parts used.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure top-quality service.

Qualifications:

• Red Seal Certification in HVAC Systems.
• 3+ years of experience as a Journeyman HVAC Technician.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, components, and best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
