Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience.

Job Summary

Ainsworth is currently looking for Refrigeration/HVAC Technicians to join our growing team. The role will be responsible for assembling, installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC and Refrigeration equipment, kitchen equipment products, and Mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose HVAC equipment and understand product wiring diagrams.
• Install HVAC/R-related equipment and components.
• Overhaul and service HVAC/R units and systems.
• Perform maintenance and repair on refrigeration equipment and systems.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Perform all job functions safely, complying with Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and regulations.
• Contribute to training and mentoring of apprentices.
• Follow the Company’s Quality System operating procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Qualifications

• Certified Red Seal Refrigeration/HVAC Mechanic.
• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience.
• Experience with restaurant refrigeration equipment repair and maintenance.
• Knowledge of HVAC Refrigeration trade practices, methods, tools, and materials.
• Valid Alberta driver’s license.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are an asset.
• Dual Journeyman Certification (Electrician, Plumber/Gasfitter) preferred.
