Job summary

Sureway Construction Group Ltd. is seeking a Heavy Equipment Technician – Truck and Transport in Edmonton, AB. This journeyperson role focuses on engine work, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance for our heavy fleet.

The position offers full-time permanent employment with a comprehensive benefits package and specialized dealer training. You will work in a modern shop environment with advanced tooling and a strong emphasis on safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Must be a Journeyperson HET – Truck and Transport.
• Engine Rebuild and Performance Software Experience is Required.
• CVIP Certification is Beneficial.
• Power Train Experience is Beneficial.
• Experience with Electronics and Emissions is Beneficial.
• Ability to read/troubleshoot and diagnose using hydraulic and electronic schematics.
• Exceptional organization and cleanliness skills are REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment is maintained at the highest standards, in a timely manner
• Conduct performance and quality checks according to procedure
• Perform preventative maintenance, repair, and overhauls
• Promote, execute and adhere to the company’s safety program, and encourage all employees, subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture
