What You’ll Do

Join our team for a rewarding and challenging environment, working alongside skilled and supportive colleagues. We are currently accepting resumes from organized and team-oriented Journeyman Heavy Duty Technicians for our Calmont Leasing location in Winnipeg, MB.

Under the supervision of the Service Manager, a Journeyman Heavy Duty Technician will perform skilled work in the adjustment, maintenance, and repair of heavy-duty trucks. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Reviewing work orders with the Shop Foreman to ensure understanding.
• Interpreting work orders and technical manuals to diagnose faults and perform repairs.
• Executing repairs and replacing defective parts, components, or systems accurately and efficiently.
• Inspecting vehicles to identify additional safety or service needs.
• Testing repaired vehicles to ensure performance meets manufacturer specifications and safety regulations.
• Completing detailed reports upon job completion.

What We’re Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Journeyman Heavy Duty Technician certification.
• Automotive certification is an asset.
• At least 2 years of relevant industry experience.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
• Class 3 Driver’s License is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
