Job summary

Nutrien is hiring a Heavy Duty Technician for our Vanscoy, Saskatchewan site. The role involves performing repairs, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting with safety as a top priority.

You will leverage SAP where applicable, participate in safety meetings, and maintain detailed repair histories while supporting a wide range of mining and mobile equipment. Shift work and a strong safety mindset are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Saskatchewan or Interprovincial Red Seal in Heavy Duty Tech, Ag Equipment Tech, or Truck & Transport Mechanic.
• Commitment to safety and positive safety behavior.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform repairs and preventative maintenance on mining/mobile equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with operations for timely fixes.
• Contribute ideas to improve safety, reliability, and processes.
• Attend Safety Meetings and participate in learning teams.
• Maintain and update equipment records and repair history.
• Inspect and service personnel carriers, Toyota Land Cruisers, and John Deere Gators.
• Maintain mobile and stationary mining equipment and conveyors.
