Job description

FDI Services Inc. is currently seeking Journeyperson Electricians for our City of Edmonton Waste Management Centre Facility in Edmonton, AB. The successful candidates will be responsible for safely executing Electrical duties in a facilities maintenance setting.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot electrical and control system
  • Install / replace / repair / maintain electrical systems including but not limited to; circuits, motors, low & high voltage systems, sub-panels, feeders, transformers, lighting systems, heating / cooling systems, generations systems, bonding, grounding & cathodic protection systems
  • May perform other related duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Committed to working safely and efficiently
  • Excellent problem-solving skills required
  • Good analytical ability and manual dexterity
  • Successful candidates are required to have a valid Alberta driver's license and provide a 5-year clean driver's abstract
  • Must be able to perform physically demanding work for a long duration of time
  • Must be able to perform duties at heights
  • Must have demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Must be able to complete all pre-access training as identified prior to mobilization
  • Electrical Journeyperson certificate from a recognized provincial training authority.

Position Information

  • Located at the City of Edmonton Waste Management Facility

  • 4 / 4 Rotation Schedule
  • Night Shift Position with Additional Hourly Premium of $3.00 an hour
