Are you an experienced Journeyman Electrician looking to join an established company where processes and protocols are in place, where the corporate structure allows nimbleness and adaptability.

The Role

  • Assist in wiring modular units from rough-in to final installation.
  • Support the installation of wiring, panels, and fixtures.
  • Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams, and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts.
  • Troubleshoot and test electrical wiring, units, and fixtures in modular units.
  • Conduct quality inspections and ensure tools and the shop meet safety and operational standards.
  • Utilize hand and power tools effectively.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, assist in development of safety process and procedures
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Setup temp generator and job site power systems.
  • Set up temporary construction site lighting.
  • Some work outside normal business hours may be required
  • Independent work environment
  • Complete material takeoff and assist with estimation electrical work scope.

What You Bring

  • Proficient in commercial electrical installations, repairs, and project oversight, from groundwork to final completion.
  • Ability to interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and specifications, ensuring compliance with all project requirements.
  • Skilled in the correct and efficient installation of electrical systems.
  • Commitment to maintaining an organized, clean, and safe workspace.

Qualifications

  • Red Seal Journeyman Electrician
  • Experience in commercial new construction and/or renovation projects.
  • Experience in setup of temp electrical system for construction.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of electrical safety codes and relevant regulations.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a strong ability to collaborate in a team environment.
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
