What You'll Do:
  1. Promote Safety. Take an active role in prioritizing safety throughout the operation for yourself and others at all times in accordance with MSHA and Vulcan standards.
  2. Repair and Maintain Electronic Equipment. Service, repair, calibrate, regulate, fine-tune, and test machines, devices, electrical systems, conductors, and associated equipment at various systems.
  3. Troubleshoot and Diagnose Equipment. Detect and diagnose electrical wiring, appliance, fixture, and machinery problems, and make corrections to improve reliability.
  4. Inspect Equipment, Structures, and Material. Complete scheduled checks to detect malfunctions and unsafe conditions throughout the plant.
  5. Interpret Blueprints, Schematics, and Documentation. Work with blueprints, schematics, manuals, and specifications for safe and effective installation procedures.
  6. Additional Responsibilities. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Skills You'll Need:

  • Experience. Previous experience in construction or industrial electrical work preferred.
  • Knowledge of Best Practices. Strong knowledge of electrical codes and theory; motor control preferred.
  • Flexibility. Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, tolerate loud noises, and work overtime as required.
  • Mechanical Skills. Basic knowledge of electrical tools, their uses, and maintenance.

Hourly Range: $22.21 - $34.36, excluding bonuses or equity. Compensation considers skills, experience, job scope, and market data.
