Job summary

Advantage Personnel is seeking a Journeyman Electrician for Saint John, New Brunswick. The role focuses on installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial or industrial settings.

You will interpret blueprints, ensure code compliance, and work both independently and with a team. The ideal candidate has a Journeyman certification (or experienced apprentice) and at least 3 years of electrical experience, with a strong safety mindset and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician certification preferred.
• 3+ years of electrical experience.

• Responsible, professional, punctual and reliable.

• Strict adherence to health and safety practices.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license preferred.

Job Title: Journeyman Electrician

Location: Saint John, New Brunswick

Shift: 7:30am - 4:00pm Monday to Friday

Pay Rate: $32.00/hr - $40.00/hr

Job Overview:

We're looking for a dedicated and hardworking Electrician to join our team! Preferably a Journeyman or experienced apprentice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, a solid understanding of construction and safety practices, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and technical diagrams
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform repairs efficiently
• Ensure all electrical work complies with applicable codes and safety regulations
