Job summary

Medallion Energy Services is seeking a journeyman electrician to support industrial construction and maintenance projects in demanding environments. You will install, troubleshoot, and test electrical systems, reading blueprints and ensuring safety and code compliance on site.

Join a team that values quality, safety, and reliable execution. Overtime and shift flexibility may be required to meet project deadlines. Based in Western Canada, travel to sites as needed is possible.

Qualifications

• Journeyman electrician certificate required.
• Good knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC).
• English fluency required.
• Valid driver’s license and eligible to work in Canada.
• Able to work in teams or independently.
• Physically capable of lifting, climbing, heights, and outdoor work.
• Available Monday to Friday with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial electrical systems and equipment.

• Perform conduit bending, cable tray installation, and wire pulling safely.
• Test electrical components and systems to ensure code and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with crews to complete projects on schedule and to specification.

Required Qualifications

• Journeyman electrician certificate.
• Working knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC).
• Fluent in English.
• Valid driver's licence and eligibility to work in Canada.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team or independently when required.
• Physically able to lift, climb ladders, work at heights, and handle outdoor site conditions.
• Available to work Monday to Friday and for overtime when required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior oil and gas experience or broader industrial electrical experience in plants, facilities, or construction sites.
• Hands-on experience with conduit bending, cable tray installation, wire pulling, and troubleshooting industrial electrical systems.
• Experience reading blueprints and schematics.
• Supervisory experience.
• H2S Alive, First Aid, CSO, or Working at Heights certification.
• Willingness to work outside of Grande Prairie as needed.
• Availability for shift work, on-call work, and weekends as needed.
