Medallion Energy Services is an established provider of electrical and instrumentation services to the oil and gas industry. You will contribute to industrial construction work that keeps complex electrical systems operating reliably in demanding environments.

This role requires precision, safety, and teamwork on a daily basis. As part of our team, you will install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems, read schematics accurately, and collaborate with crews to complete projects on time

Qualifications

• Journeyman electrician certificate is required.
• Working knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC).
• Fluent in English.
• Valid driver’s licence and eligibility to work in Canada.
• Able to work as part of a team or independently.
• Physically able to lift, climb ladders, work at heights.
• Available to work Monday to Friday and for overtime when required.

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
• Perform conduit bending, cable tray installation, and wire pulling safely.
• Test electrical components and systems to ensure code and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with crews to complete projects on schedule and to specification.

Required Qualifications

• Journeyman electrician certificate.
• Working knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC).

• Able to work effectively as part of a team or independently when required.
• Physically able to lift, climb ladders, work at heights, and handle outdoor site conditions.
• Available to work Monday to Friday and for overtime when required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior oil and gas experience or broader industrial electrical experience in plants, facilities, or construction sites.
• Hands‑on experience with conduit bending, cable tray installation, wire pulling, and troubleshooting industrial electrical systems.
• Experience reading blueprints and schematics.
• Supervisory experience.
• H2S Alive, First Aid, CSO, or Working at Heights certification.
• Willingness to work outside of Grande Prairie as needed.
• Availability for shift work, on‑call work and weekends as needed.
