Jardeg is recruiting a Journeyperson Crane Operator to join the team at Cenovus Lloydminster Refinery in Lloydminster, Alberta. The shift schedule will be 9 days on and 5 days off, with each workday consisting of 10 hours. A travel allowance of $300 is provided ($150 each way).

Responsibilities

  1. Operate cranes by manipulating pedals and levers to rotate the crane and raise/lower the boom and loadlines.
  2. Drive the crane to the site, rig the machine (pinning the boom and pendant cables, pulling the hoist cable).
  3. Set up the crane for lifts, ensuring it is level and stable using blocking and leveling materials.

Requirements

  1. Must possess a Journeyperson ticket.
  2. Ability to operate at least a 35-ton crane.

Ticket Requirements

  1. Construction Safety Training System (CSTS 09 or 2020) OR Petroleum Safety Training (PST).
  2. ESC H2S Alive.
  3. AWP (Aerial Work Platform).
  4. ESC Fall Protection (Harness Training In Class).
  5. WHMIS (2015).
