Rockport Commercial Inc. in Winnipeg, Manitoba, is seeking a Journeyman Concrete Carpenter to build and install formwork for foundations, walls, slabs, and columns. You will work from drawings to measure, cut, assemble, and strip forms on-site in a fast-paced construction environment.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Certificate / Red Seal preferred, or significant verified formwork experience.

Responsibilities

• Formwork Construction: Assemble and strip concrete formwork for various layouts.
• Structural Building: Build durable forms for footings, foundations, and structural elements.
• Precision Layouts: Interpret blueprints and specifications to ensure accurate, level work.
• Pour Support & Safety: Use tools to support pours and maintain a safe, clean site.
• Collaboration: Work with supervisors and trades to keep projects on schedule.
• Mentor: train and teach junior staff.
